Footage of a camping trip I went on with some friends to Ocean Shores, Washington in June of 2014.
I actually wasn't really intending to shoot much, but when we got to the beach, the shots were just too great to pass up. I started shooting mainly just the scenery, but I ended up making this little piece more of a video-scrapbook of our trip. It's very shaky since I had no rig and it was so bright, I could hardly see what was in focus and what wasn't (which was apparently a significant amount of it). Despite these things which normally would make me cringe, I really enjoy watching it if nothing more than to bring back those times I had with people I love that weekend.
I also tried to experiment with color grading a little more in this piece. There are some hit and misses, but overall it was an enjoyable little project.
